With this years Miami Masters Series Tennis tournament in full swing, it made me think of last years tournament when I took my girlfriend there for her birthday. Last year the tournament was called the Nasdaq 100 Open as you can see above and this year it’s the Sony Ericsson Open but that doesn’t matter, tennis tourneys are fun to go to. They are relaxed and fun and in the early rounds you can visit many matches on many different courts. We actually went to the women’s final last year at the stadium in Key Biscayne just south of Miami. What a great way to spend a weekend. I highly recommend checking out tennis tournaments, aside from just being fun, you can meet lot’s of people from all over the world. It is a very international sport with fans from all over following their countrymen. It is my hope to get to the French Open and Wimbledon in the next few years. I go to the US Open every year as I live in New York City and have been to the stadium in Melbourne where they host the 4th major.
