The One & Only Palmilla
The Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is the way all hotels should strive to be, it has unmatched beauty and is one of a handful of properties around the world from the One & Only group. With the focus on impeccable service and the amazing upkeep of the property, you almost don’t mind the astronomical prices that you are paying. No request goes unfulfilled and you can’t possibly be wrong…and if by some chance you don’t feel like leaving your amazing room, your own personal butler can take care of literally anything for you.
I am down here for a good friends 40th birthday party with about 75 people attending the festivities. The setting couldn’t be more ideal and the weekend couldn’t have been more fun or the weather more perfect. Living in Manhattan, I never get to play golf but I was able to play all three Palmilla courses here with my friends; the Arroyo, Mountain and Beach courses and I even played pretty well considering I never play.
The food at the hotel is awesome, it isn’t cheap as nothing here is, considering I got chips with guacamole and it cost me $30, but it is good. Last night we had a poolside dinner for the whole party with everyone attending, at least those that could post after a long few days and nights, and they had private chefs preparing amazing food. It was great and everyone had a blast.
Honestly, I could go on forever about how nice this place is but if you ever get a chance to check it our for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. Back to the pool…I am going ATVing today in the dunes down here, can’t wait.

I stayed there, it’s unbelievable. It’s good to see you write about more than just budget stuff.

That sounds nice, can you send the butler to my dorm room, I would like him to do my homework.
