9-11-01 Eleven Years Later

Eleven years ago today was one of the worst days of my life and the worst day in the history of America. For all Americans, but especially for those of us who worked in the World Trade Center or knew anyone who passed away on September 11, 2001; today is always a difficult day to get through.

For me, it is extremely important to always remember my good friends and countless former colleagues who did pass away that horrible morning and be extremely thankful for those who survived and are still with us; including one of my very best friends, Mike, whose wedding I just attended in Germany. To one of my all time favorite people, Andrew Stergiopoulos, or just Sterg-I miss you always brother; also Monique DeJesus; Billy Tselepis-the Cubs are still and always will be awful!; Lynn Morris, my eSpeed/Cantor Fitzgerald team, the incredibly brave FDNY, NYPD and everyone else who passed away during that awful day and since fighting for our country abroad. You guys are always in my thoughts and will never be forgotten-your spirit lives on forever and touches me each day. I truly cannot believe it’s been eleven years; it seems like yesterday.
