MTV Casting Call

This is my first ever public service (or disservice) announcement on this site but my sister Alix works for MTV and they are looking for people who fit the following bill to be on an MTV show. If you are interested or know somebody who fits the bill then please respond to the email address in the casting call. Thanks.

I’m a Couch Surfer

Are you one of the growing legions of travelers choosing to connect with locals by couch-surfing your way across the globe? Have you found that crashing on stranger’s couches is way more fun than paying for a hostel…or is it just the cheapest way to travel? Are you couch-surfing in hopes of meeting the love of your life… or just an international fling? Have you had a nightmare host? Or are you the host and enjoy the thrill of opening up your home to international travelers? Are you couch-surfing to test the social waters in a new city? Or are you a traditional couch-surfer in your own town—going from couch to couch, wearing out your welcome and irritating friends and family for months as you try—or don’t try—to solve your housing issues.

If you are a part of a couch-surfing community, MTV wants to hear from you. If you appear to be between the ages of 16 and 28 email us at CouchSurfer@mtvn.com with all the details, including the best and worst experiences you’ve had, when and where you’ll be couch-surfing next, and what you hope and expect will happen on your journey.
